This five (5) day Combo IICRC Course combines the water damage restoration and applied structural drying certifications into one information packed essential training.

  • All classes are 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Registration begins at 7:30 AM
  • There is a $50 cancellation fee per student

About the Mold Remediation Certification Instructor: Destry Ransdell 

Prerequisites:
IICRC Certification in CCT or CCMT

Continuing Education Credits:
IICRC 2 CECs

Destry Ransdell is president of TEC Pro which provides training, education and consulting to companies in the restoration/remediation industry. He is also an IICRC Instructor, an IICRC Certified Master Textile Cleaner, Master Water Restorer and Master Fire and Smoke Restorer. He has worked in the remediation/restoration industry for 12 years as an estimator, project manager and technician and has even been a Health & Safety Director for several employers. Destry still remains in the field as a consultant and trainer, which keeps him on top of the best practices, newest methods and equipment. Prior to this, Destry worked in the reconstruction field. Destry has become very familiar with the building envelope, construction practices and materials. Water Damage & Applied Drying Combo Certification

Water Damage Restoration Technician/Applied Structural Drying Combo (WRT/ASD) Certification

The WRT ASD Certification course allows students to become certified as both a Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and an Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD)

 To get the WRT and ASD Certifications you must attend 5 days of training along with passing both the WRT and ASD exams. If any portion of the course and exam are not completed during the five (5) day period, the student is required to re-attend the entire five (5) day course to receive both certifications.  No portion of the five (5) day course can be applied to either a WRT or ASD course being taught separately.

The Applied Structural Drying courses covers the effective, efficient and timely drying of water-damaged structures and contents, using comprehensive classroom and hands-on training, in order to facilitate appropriate decision-making within a restorative drying environment. Students will experience live hands on use of instruments, extraction systems, drying equipment, and chemistry use in an actual flooded building situation.
